Stanley Jordan School of the Arts is proud to announce a major event:
Stanleyland Music Camp 2016!

Time and Place:
Aug. 29 - Sept 2, 2016 at the Full Moon Resort in Big Indian, NY.
Spend some quality time with me and my team of teachers including Kenwood Dennard and Julia Jordan Kamanda. Let us help you to rekindle that spark and rediscover your music, or to take what you’re already doing to a new level.

This camp is useful for players of all instruments because we'll be covering the essentials of efficient music learning and self-fulfillment through music. You can also do specialized study of guitar and music theory with me, drums with Kenwood and voice with Julia.

There will be workshops, master classes, evening performances by me and the other teachers and late-night jam rooms, which will include students from Robben Ford's Music Dojo camp, which will be running concurrently. Plus there will be nature activities. What more can you want? Come join us for an amazing experience!

Registration is now open, spaces are limited!
Stanleyland Music Camp 2016!

We are developing the next wave of lessons, and we expect them to be listed here soon, so come back to see all the exciting offerings that will be available. A message from Stanley:

With great pleasure I welcome you all to the grand opening of The Stanley Jordan School of the Arts! This project has been years in the making, and now that it's up and running you'll see rapid developments over the next few months. Beginning now you can sign up for online lessons with me. Over time, expect to see other teachers come on board. I also have a huge collection of learning materials, originally created for my own use, that I'm now adapting to share through this site. This is just the beginning!

Coming Soon: Exclusive state-of-the-art teaching tools, video tutorials, 3D instructional worlds and more.

Take a first peek at a new system Stanley has developed for cataloging and displaying thousands of chord and scale forms for the guitar, bass and keyboards using 3D modeling and an intuitive color-coding scheme. Once it's up-and running premium members will be able to access it any time, anywhere, on any device.

The Chromatic System is a harmonic system that Stanley Jordan has developed and used since the 1970s to facilitate an expanded harmonic vocabulary. This topic is available now for live lessons. Written materials will soon be available.
